1)                            My first goal is to continuously assist clients to implement more sustainable materials, technologies, and processes into the incubator industry of fashion eyewear. I aim to see these sustainable innovations spill over into the larger fashion industry and become fashion industry standards. To this end, I value and continuously build my eyewear and fashion industry network.

 

2)                            My second goal is to continuously mentor, collaborate with, and learn from the emerging generation of industry professionals. Realizing that my generation can both teach and learn from the next generation, I make an effort to give young professionals space, time, and network support. In this spirit, I also intend to keep educating myself by finishing my bachelor's in Environmental Studies and then move on to a masters degree in the same field of studies.

 

3)                            My third goal is to continuously grow personally, nurture my sense of community and spirit, and thus shield myself and my mentees from burnout. To stay resilient and effective amid this human, industrial, and natural world multi-crisis, I strive to build a sense of agency through mindfulness practices, open communication on challenging topics, and supportive exchanges with others working in the environmental field.
